MITOcare was founded in 2013 by two doctors who were intensively involved in the importance of mitochondria & the complexity of human metabolism. Through research, therapeutic experience & daily clinical practice, it became increasingly clear how closely biological processes are connected – and how important it is to consider functional relationships holistically.
The name »MITOcare« combines two central components of our philosophy: »MITO« as a reference to mitochondria and »care« in the sense of holistic, responsible support.
Behind this is the conviction not to view biological contexts in isolation, but to support people systemically and long-term on their way to more balance & well-being.
From this insight arose the vision to give people more orientation in complex metabolic topics & to think of micronutrients more systemically – with a concept that combines biological processes, therapeutic experience and the synergy principle of nature.
