Organic fermented beverage

Over 10 bitter herbs and plant substances

16 microorganism cultures in a stable environment

Multi-stage fermented, not sterilized, without additives

Certified according to EU organic standards and regularly tested for quality and purity

Bitter substances activate specific receptors in the human body, located not only on the tongue but also in the gastrointestinal tract and other organs such as the liver and lungs. This means that bitter substances are not only involved in the perception of taste but can also play a role in various physiological signaling and regulatory processes. The gut flora, on the other hand, consists of various microorganisms, primarily bacteria, which exist in a symbiotic relationship with humans. It is involved in numerous metabolic and regulatory processes and thus contributes significantly to the dynamics of physiological processes.

Our organically grown Bitterferment is produced through the multi-stage fermentation of valuable, natural bitter herbs in combination with a special microorganism profile. The result is a balanced interplay of certified organic bitter herbs, such as artichokes, gentian root, and wormwood, and 16 different resilient, live cultures in a stable environment. Various lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, as well as other microorganisms like Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Streptococcus thermophilus, are used in the process. Production relies exclusively on whole plant parts, and the absence of sterilization preserves the pure, raw food quality.
