Amino acid L-tyrosine

500mg tyrosine per capsule - 90 capsules per jar

Without fillers - with pullulan capsules from natural agriculture

Our MITOcare add·on L-tyrosine contains the amino acid L-tyrosine obtained from natural fermentation. This must either be supplied to the body from outside or can be formed from the essential amino acid L-phenylalanine by splitting off water. The latter process is called hydroxylation. In the body, L-tyrosine is a component of some biogenic amines and a precursor of some hormones and neurotransmitters. In certain metabolic disorders and liver diseases, the conversion of phenylalanine to tyrosine can be impaired, making a sufficient external supply of L-tyrosine essential, e.g. in phenylketonuria.
