Nucleotides are the building blocks of DNA and RNA. While DNA contains the genetic information, i.e. the complete blueprint for the construction and function of the entire organism, RNA serves, among other things, as a transmitter of this information. Both have the central task of controlling the structural, metabolic and energetic functions of the cells. The body can both produce nucleotides itself and absorb them through food. They are contained in breast milk, for example. Growth and maintenance of all bodily functions require constant cell renewal and thus cell division. Nucleotides are important building blocks for this cell division.
The product Premium Nucleotide contains all 5 approved nucleotides. Magnesium, zinc, vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and the bioactive folic acid compound are also involved in the cell division described above2. Zinc also contributes to DNA synthesis1. Thanks to various B vitamins and magnesium, this product helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue4, supports the function of the nervous system5 and also has a positive effect on hair and skin.6

PCL 03 > Energy & Mitochondria
Cell Energy as a Foundation
Most of the cellular energy is produced in the mitochondria, and almost all cells in our body possess them. They are the powerhouses of our cells and enable the formation of ATP, the universal energy carrier of the body. Where there is life, energy is needed – or, as we at MITOcare say: Life is electricity.
Therefore, mitochondria are much more than a research focus for MITOcare. They form the linchpin of our Principle Causa Logica – because where cell energy is created, numerous biological processes begin that connect the entire metabolism.
This understanding is also reflected in our brand logo: the hummingbird. Due to its exceptionally energy-intensive flight, its flight muscles have a particularly high density of mitochondria and thus symbolize what drives MITOcare – efficient cell energy as the basis of biological processes.
All complex products related to mitochondria & cell energy are summarized in PCL Level 03 – Energy & Mitochondria.
Mitochondrial energy metabolism is a highly complex interplay of various biological processes. From the provision of energy-rich substrates via the citric acid cycle & the respiratory chain to protection against oxidative stress, numerous metabolic pathways intertwine. These four central areas of mitochondrial energy production form the scientific basis of our product development.
Instead of focusing on individual ingredients, we develop formulations that utilize natural synergies of selected micronutrients and natural substances. Bioavailability, high raw material quality, purity & a scientifically sound composition are at the heart of every development.
Each complex product within the PCL Level 03 – Energy & Mitochondria pursues its own biological focus – from comprehensive all-round complexes to targeted formulations for individual metabolic processes. Together, they form a coordinated concept that considers mitochondrial energy metabolism from different biological perspectives.
Potent cellular energy is not generated in isolation. Before mitochondria can convert nutrients into energy, they require the right building blocks and cofactors.
That's why a biologically sound basic supply at MITOcare begins with CL01 – Macronutrients and CL02 – Micronutrients. Building on this, PCL03 – Energy & Mitochondria complements this foundation with selected micronutrients and natural substances for mitochondrial energy metabolism.
Depending on individual focus, the products of PCL03 – Energy & Mitochondria offer a sensible addition to a biologically sound supplement routine – from all-round complexes to specialized formulations.
