Our MITOcare add·on Taurine contains the amino acid derivative taurine, which is also chemically referred to as 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid. Under certain conditions, taurine can be formed in the body through the breakdown of the amino acids cysteine and methionine. Reduced intake of these two amino acids accordingly decreases taurine formation. Vegetarians and vegans, for example, might have an increased need here. Taurine is found in various tissues and organs in the body, such as the brain, heart, and muscles.

Dosage:
